I am a neurodivergent health advocate, cofounder of COVERSE and since 2021 have navigated the Australian medical, allied, and alternative health sectors including international lab testing to try and heal from pericarditis, and ME/CFS, an under-researched and barely funded but common chronic disease with a mere 8-20% recovery rate. In 2022 I was connected to the advanced biochemical disease modelling of Sydney researcher Joshua Leisk and am a near ‘graduate’ of his experimental protocol, combined with rehab and mobility training with Luke Sparrow. This journey which included also discovering my genetics, growing as a person within sharp and generous patient-led research and mutual aid communities, and building a team of specialists in South East Queensland, has led me to pursue a Cert 4 in Nutrition Health coaching, and rehab strength training through a hyper-mobility lens. I will likely be incorporating this knowledge, lived experience and training into my professional practice and offerings in the near future. Feel free to reach out if you think I might be able to help you with this work.
